  • Report on the final round of the Australian one-act play competition, which ran at the Community Playhouse, in Forbes St, Darlinghurst, from 3 May 1930 through to 17 May 1930. The four finalists were 'Dexterity', by Gustavus Ward, Yeast, by Llywelyn Lucas, 'Bondage', by E.R. Howell, and 'Sacrifice', by Clif Peir. 'Dexterity' won the prize for the play of the most literary merit, Yeast won the prize for the play of the most theatrical merit.
