Serialised in the Perth Gazette and Western Australian Journal in six instalments 24, 31 August; 7, 14, 21 September; 12 October 1839. The serialisation seems not to have been completed. An advertisement announcing the publication of the Vocabulary in pamphlet form appears in the Gazette, 9 November 1839, and is repeated in subsequent issues over November and December 1839.
