  • Epigraph: 'Mr S. Lyons is instructed to sell by Auction, at the Residence of R. Therry Esq., M.C., Household Furniture, Picture, Books, etc. Amongst which will be found a Bust of the Right Honourable George Canning, from the model of Chantrey; a Portrait of Mr Huskisson and ditto of Sir Richard Bourke.' - Advertisement.
  • Possibly referring to Sir Roger Therry's association with William Huskisson whose roles included Colonial Secretary in the late 1820s.
