  • Editor's note for the first instalment: We have great pleasure in laying before our Readers the following extract from a Printed Pamphlet, by Colonel Hanson, the Quarter Master General at Madras. The interest it has excited here will we trust plead our excuse with the Colonel for rendering Public, that which he intended merely for Private distribution.
