A man is outraged when his daughter receives lingerie as a wedding present from an unidentified man. His subsequent actions cause him great embarrassment.
Tells the story of Grace Bussell who, at age 16 on 2 December 1876, rescued the shipwrecked passengers of the Georgette, assisted by an Indigenous stockman. She was later awarded the medal of the Royal Humane Society for her efforts, while the stockman was awarded the bronze medal.
