AbstractHistoryArchive Description

In Ned Nimble amongst the Bushrangers of Australia, Ned, his wife Minnie and their baby emigrate to Queensland with their servants, Harry, Charley, 'Dolf, Jumbo and Tilda. Not long after they have settled, the villain Bill Boaster disguises himself as an Irish farmhand and steals Ned's child with the assistance of some bushrangers. Ned and his companions pursue Bill and and eventually rescue the baby. Ned shoots Bill in a showdown, but Bill does not die and is merely arrested, leaving him able, as Ned fears, to pursue 'another and further career of crime.'
