'"Revolution" imagines Australia is on the eve of her revolution. Imaduddin, the charismatic and brilliant leader of New Australia, is seeking to overthrow the current political system. His motives are altruistic. He hopes to establish a new People's Democracy, a democratic system which is run by everyday Australians. Through his own determination, arrogance and belief in the ideals of New Australia he forces the current government into a political confrontation that is a struggle for the soul of Australia. How much is Imaduddin willing to pay for his dream to succeed?' Source: www.nationalplayfestival.org.au/ (Sighted 20/01/2009).
