AbstractHistoryArchive Description

When patrolling the plains with his father, Frank Marlow, of Wooraloo Station, sees a wild stallion. He vows that one day this young roan brumby will be his, and names him Warrigal, after the wild dingo. Frank and Warrigal battle the hardships of station life, including drought and marauding 'wild blacks'. Frank returns to London with his family and Warrigal suffers at the hands of cruel owners. Finally they are reunited in London.
