  • Epigraph: T'otherside wire: 'James McVitty was found dead at the rear of his residence this morning with a wound in his head. A revolver was found beside the body, and the circumstances point to suicide from despondency, owing to his inability during the last twelve months to obtain remunerative employment.' Which, panned off in the jingle dish, assays as under:-
