  • Editor's note: The Brussels correspondent of the Galignani Messenger, writing in November [1890], a chatty debate on "British Novelists in Belgium," thus refers to Madame Couvreur, who, under the widely-known pen name of "Tasma," is winning lasting renown as one of the best writers of English fiction.
