  • Epigraph: The following hunk of verse (I can't honestly call it poetry) was handed to me by a chap who was evidently 'cut up' by the sad fate of a friend of his, who, in a moment of temptation, attempted to count the number of posts used in the construction of the platform for the new Cue water supply tanks. The verse might be rocky, but the moral is painfully apparent. Here it is:-
