  • Editor's note: 'Cabbie Jim hasn't inflicted the company much lately,' said the Poet. 'So perhaps a verse or two of his about the bolters-out won't be sneezed at. If the Jew Boy, Ben Hal, Frank Gardiner, Ned Kelly, Martin Cash, Brady, and other bush-rangers can have songs sung about them surely our outlaws and their captors may be similarly honored.'
