AbstractHistoryArchive Description

As Blossom gazes at a pile of Mallee Roots, they come to life, with their 'limbs...notched in the most grotesque manner, and seem[ing] too slender to carry their solid clumsy bodies' (p. 9). Wagglewand and his fellow Roots build Blossom a castle that seems to hang in the air at the cliff-face. Blossom meets the Spirit of the Bush and visits the Fairies' Tree.
