AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Footballer, Michael O'Loughlin grew up in Salisbury North, on the other side of Adelaide. Before 2001, he had been with the Sydney Swans for six years, from at the age of seventeen. In this short biography, O'Loughlin suggests that 'sport is...the best example of reconciliation [he] can come up with. When you're playing in a team you're working towards one goal and that's winning'. (O'Loughlin cited in Tweedie 2001:104-105)
