  • Author's note: This lovely old rhyme is the best reading exercise I know. Repetition 'snowballs' throughout to re-inforce Rhyme and Rhythm linked to action in a delightful way ... I have tried to illustrate the text without gimmickry since stylised images can confuse very young children whose world is seen through realistic eyes.
