AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Julie-Anne, a marginally successful career woman, comes home from a hard day at the office to discover that her mother has locked the cat in the house all day and that she is expected to prepare dinner. As she cooks the mashed potatoes and sausages, she tells her mother and the cat (an indifferent audience) about a recent promotion at work. Julie-Anne's rant about her job suggests that she is close to a breakdown and the narrative culminates in burned sausage and mashed potatoes all over the floor.
