Notes

  • Author's note: From various areas throughout New South Wales there are many Dreamtime legends which tell of the kindness of Byamee, the father-of-all. Living in the sky world, he never ceased to watch over and help the earthly people he had created. This story comes from the Aboriginal people who once lived in the area where the town of Brewarrina now stands.
