'An original three-act drama, of which Garibaldi is the hero and Sicily the scene, is to be produced this evening at the Prince of Wales; and from the interest manifested by all classes in the achievements of this heroic soldier, no doubt the production referred to will meet with an encouraging reception, if its dramatic merits are such as to satisfy the public expectation. We believe it is from the pen of a local author, and that the scenery has been painted expressly for the occasion, so as to give spectators a vivid idea of the localities which the fame of Garibaldi's exploits has rendered once more famous.'
