Notes

  • 'I am getting out a small book of religious poems Perfumed Sheaves for nuns etc. - I hope for this Christmas. It has no great merit except that will meet a need they have for gifts, and it is the kind of book they like. I am using 'Mara Tressarth' especially as I have no desire to be known as the author, except of course to those few who already know.' Aileen Treahy to Paul Grano, 1.10.1944. (Hayes Manuscript Collection, UQ FL 2/3957).
