  • The Pat Hanna Collection manuscripts indicate that this sketch was 'adapted from the original sketch by Pat Hanna and Eric Donaldson', and was first produced by The Famous Diggers during their 1923 Melbourne season.

    The sketch was later staged under the alternative title Chic and Joe Join the Airforce.
