Rowbotham speaks of his first poems written when a child ; his periodical publications ; the topics of his poems and his style of writing. He describes his boyhood in Queensland and his studies ; the war years and his time in the Air Force. Rowbotham reads the poems: 'The bushman's girl', 'Little white fox', and 'Wet through'.
