Notes

  • A brief report on novelist F. J. Thwaites, his wife Jessica, and their son Roger, who had just returned to Australia following a world tour, which included Europe and the Americas. As with their 1955 trip from England to Australia, the trio again covered much of the distance in their Hillman station-wagon. Thwaites' account of the journey later appeared as Press on Regardless. Includes a photograph.
