Notes

  • This poem was written to highlight the contradictions in the dealings of our system of justice and law in dealing with Aboriginal Australians. John acknowledges that policing is a challenging task and is not criticising any individuals or the police in general. He is a member of WA ALP Policy Committees, including Indigenous Affairs and Law and Justice.
