AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A badly wounded WWI veteran returns late from the war to find the world indiferent and his bride attracted to her father's young business partner. When he decides to try to prove himself by taking a job with the firm the two men discover they were war mates. The partner relinquishes his affection for the bride, but before he leaves tells her how his husband saved the former's life in the war. Thinking him a hero helps her to revive the marriage.
