AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Childhood friends are reunited in a series of delirious encounters where heads become separated from bodies and then reattached with confusing results. "The Tangled Garden" stirs physical comedy, magic and humour into a captivating mix of bravado, absurdity and tropical delights. Set in the mountains of West Java, Indonesia, "The Tangled Garden" blends Western and Sundanese theatre traditions to create a provocative contemporary comedy full of paradox and surprising imagery.
