Woman who for unknown reasons has married a Jew and now regrets it, discovers her true love for her English cousin, newly accused of cowardice, when their liner is holed in a fog. She chooses to stay aboard with the cousin and is rescued. The husband rushes into a lifeboat with the women and drowns.
Contains the sixth and final instalment of 'Among the Fuegians: Sir Baldwin Spencer's Last Journey', p.65. This instalment was published with the title 'Among the Fuegians: From Legend to Life'. As with the other instalments of the Queenslander republication of this work, the contents varies from that of other versions (including material elsewhere published in instalments three and four).
