Notes

  • Tom Armstrong likely staged this sketch in America prior to his return to Australia in 1910 with Priscilla Verne. After 1912, it would have also been worked by Armstrong with Mabs Howarth.

  • Possibly related to two other military sketches by Armstrong: 'Colonel Ketchup' and 'Casey's Finish'.
