A collection of Australian Indigenous dreaming stories, retold by A. W. Reed, who acknowledges a 'certain westernisation' of his retellings. The stories are ordered in three parts: The Great Father; Totemic Ancestors; Creation Myths. Reed provides contextual introductions to many of the tales.
