AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Autobiographical fiction. This story is based on the author's involvement in the appeal of a trial that sought to challenge the abrogation of constitutional law in Fiji following the coup in 2000. Sudesh Mishra was the public relations officer for a farmer who initially instigated the trial. The theme of nostalgia is evident in the protagonist's ruminations on his decision to quit a well paid job in Edinburgh in order to return to Fiji, where he becomes involved in the trial.
