Notes

  • Epigraph: Memories, seeking after lost time, procure dreams, but do not restore lost occasions (Emmanuel Levinus).
  • 'Lost is a four part metageneric novel in which you take the emotional odyssey, not the characters. It is based on four colours, yellow, red, green and blue, the connotations of which cross the range of human experience. This first book, In the Light of Memory, was borne of the colour yellow. These fantastic tales of a time worn wanderer are delightful, profound, tragic and beautiful' (Back Cover ). Despite the further note - 'Bill Pascoe's first novel is now published as was originally intended - each of its four parts alone, appearing over one year' - it seems that the subsequent parts of the work were not published.
