A kitten, Geoffrey, is abandoned on a country road and finds a lovely new home where pets are appreciated. Geoffrey has many adventures: running from the terriers, hunting with old Tom, attending a birthday party, going to the veterinarian. Geoffrey surprises the family, but not herself, when she produces four kittens. The cook renames her 'Pansy'!
