AbstractHistoryArchive Description

David Mesher posits the view: 'Though John Scott's metaphor of colonisation in Warra Warra necessarily comes up short in its historical parallels, his novel's spectrum analysis of Australia's conception of itself and of its present relation to its colonial past strikingly coexists with Scott's nostalgic indulgence in his own British roots'.
