  • An article which appeared in The Brisbane Courier's general news section (possibly derived from an interview with a Courier reporter), in which Arthur Hoey Davis discusses the origins of his writing name 'Steele Rudd'. The article also reports Davis' comments on his sources of inspiration for the characters Dad, Dave and Joe, and concludes by mentioning his approval of the movie version of On Our Selection, which was due to be premiered at the Tivoli Theatre in Brisbane the following Friday.
