AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Revusical.

A 1923 advertisement in the Sydney Morning Herald reads, 'You've had Some Night and been Out West with little Hermie, but you will have ten times more fun in Some Hotel' (26 May 1923, p.2).

Notes

  • Some Hotel is thought to have been adapted from an earlier Ward revusical, Guessing at the Hotel Guess. There is also a reference to a Hotel De Guess in advertising to another Ward revusical, In Wrong (1921). It is unclear at this stage whether these two works are related.
