Quotes in full a letter Campbell-Praed wrote to a Mrs A. G. Mapleton, who sent her a copy of an article written about Campbell-Praed's work, published in The Brisbane Courier, 31 October, 1931. Resident in England, Campbell-Praed was 81 and in ill-health and writes of her longing to return to Australia.
