AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'The Dreaming is a supernatural mystery story about a pair of identical twin sisters who arrive at their new private boarding school, only to find that it is haunted by something frightening and evil. Set in the remote Australian bush and using native myths as its inspiration, this ghost story is light on gore and aimed at anyone who enjoys an atmospheric story.' Notes

  • Author's note: The Dreaming is a single story, spanning 3 books of aproximately 175-200 pages each. Each book has a self-contained narrative arc, and consists of 7 chapters each. The story is pre-written and thus already planned ... Since the story is a self-contained story, there are no plans for the continuation of the series. I planned this as a complete story, so it has been structured that way.
  • According to the author's website, the series "has since been translated into many languages, including French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Finnish, Indonesian, Japanese, Icelandic, Russian and Turkish."

Affiliation Notes

  • This work is affiliated with the AustLit subset Asian-Australian Children's Literature and Publishing as an example of Australian Original English Language Manga.
