Revusical.
Several other revusicals with country/farming settings were staged in Australia between 1915 and the late 1920s. These include Paul Stanhope's On the Farm (1915), Nat Phillips' A Sporting Chance (1916); Art Slavin's Fun on a Ranch (1916); Fooling the Farmer (Clay circuit, 1917); and Billy Cass's Fun on the Farm (1926).
It is not clear whether any of the above works are related to a minstrel farce staged by Harry Rickards in 1897 under the title Fun on a Farm (see Melbourne Opera House, beginning 17 July).
1916: Harry Clay's Sydney suburban and south-west NSW circuit, ca. September/October.
