Notes

  • A story involving three convicts who were transported to New South Wales under the unlikely names Charles James Fox, William Pitt, and Edmund Burke. The three subsequently escaped and became bushrangers, before eventually being captured and then hung. Their namesakes were all famous later 19th century British political figures, hence the story title 'Three Celebrities'.
