  • Author's note: According to a par in last week's issue of the Advertiser, Pinjarra is to have a poundkeeper who 'will wear a headpiece trimmed with gold lace'. No mention was made as to whether folks will be expected to salute him as 'Yey Rile 'Ighness' but presume it wasn't thought necessary. Anyhow, Dweillingup is not jealous of her sister village, so a few lines herewith.
