The world premiere was held in Brisbane's Regent Theatre on 1 October 1932. His Royal Highness was distributed throughout Australia, New Zealand, and England by Universal. (For England, the title was changed to His Loyal Highness).

Filmed largely in Efftee's studio at His Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne.

Notes:

1. His Royal Highness marked George Wallace's debut as a film actor.

2. Choreography: Jennie Brennan

3. The film cost £19,000, with some £7,000 of the budget spent on building the set for the Betonian Palace. Such was the size of the set that an extension to the studio floor at His Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne, was required.
