Revusical.
This 'cowboy musical drama', is described in the Sydney Morning Herald as being set 'in the wilds of the West, [where] Mr Wallace appears as a parson endeavouring to reform cowboys' (2 May 1925, p.10).
The similarities in settings and some characters between Money and Matrimony and Dangerous Dan suggest that the latter may have been adapted from the first sometime during 1925. This is supported, too, by the fact that no further revivals of Money and Matrimony have been located after the 1925 Bijou Theatre season.
1925: Fullers' Theatre, Sydney, 2-8 May.
1925: Bijou Theatre, Melbourne, 11-17 July.
