Amongst other 'pieces,' this book contains two talks that Nandan gave at the National Federation Party (NFP) Annual Conventions in Fiji in 1978 and 1980. There are also a number of critical essays peppered with autobiographical anecdotes and extracts from Nandan's poetry as well as a few autobiographical pieces which relate Nandan's personal experience to wider social issues. His short story, 'Mangoes' appears at the end of the collection.
