  • Editor's note: The Authoress, in the above verses, has ventured, perhaps rather too daringly, to inflict a Parody upon the well-known lines of Lord Byron's poem "Maid of Athens," &c., every verse of which ends "zoe mou sas agapo!" and means "My life, I love you!" The force of the Parody turns upon the substitution of "Tobacco" for "Life."
