An early version of the tale of Fisher's Ghost, Australia's first legend of a ghost.

Notes

  • First appeared in Tegg's Monthly Magazine in March 1836 with the author's name indicated by the Greek letter Sigma. Hand-written notes on the Mitchell Library copy of Tegg's Monthly Magazine attribute this work to 'W. Kerr'. Note that Victor Crittenden (q.v.) has attributed this work to John Lang (q.v.).
