Notes

  • Author's note: My brother was lost in the Dalyup in 1908 and was found by the blacks on the third day. The left hand branch is a fork in the Dalyup River and is still referred to by that name. I was very young at the time but I clearly recall the mounted police calling and my mother riding out with them.
