In 2003 and 2005 Penguin published Kid's Night In and Kid's Night In 2, raising nearly a million dollars in Australia alone and nearly $3 million worldwide for War Child. The first anthology was a children's bestseller, making it into the Nielsen Bookscan Top 10 in 2003, and was named a Children's Book Council of Australia Notable Book in 2004. Kid's Night In also triggered a War Child Australia field project, supplying more than 5000 new books donated by Australian Children's Publishers to school libraries in the Soloman Islands. A third edition in the series was published in 2009.
'From the bottom of the sea to the highest mountain, there's a story here for everyone...
'Kids' Night In 3 might just be the most amazing collection of stories ever. And every copy you buy helps to raise money for War Child, the aid organisation that helps children all over the world, affected by war.
'It's an ocean of bedtime stories, poetry, recipes, hilarious cartoons and cool art to explore!' (From the publisher's website.)
