'The verses quoted were written by Australia's greatest writer ... a year before his death, and were published in the 'Aussie' magazine in October, 1921. They are now submitted to the electors of Botany in endorsement of the claims of Ald. Tom Mutch, M.L.A., for the No. 1 vote on polling day.'
