Persuaded by his friend, Captain Gimble, of the benefits of sea, air Mr Moans travels on an overloaded collier from Sydney to Melbourne. Though the trip proves rough and somewhat dangerous, Mr. Moans endures and appreciates the refreshing change afforded by his twelve days on board.
