AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The book in its traditional printed form has persisted through time as the preferred medium to document, entertain, inform and instruct. New technologies allow publishers to expand the definition of publishing by enabling material to be published online and accessed by consumers through the Internet. Using a case study of the travel publisher, Lonely Planet, this study investigates the effects of online publishing on conventional publishing.
