Notes

  • Editor's note: This is different from the type of article usually published in this, or other literary, papers. It was an address delivered by Capt. C. H. Peters, M. C. and Bar, to the staff of a large Melbourne ironmongery store, which had installed a library for its employees, and therefore concerns the practical more than reading for recreation, and applies to the non-reader rather than those who are subscribers to this magazine; but we believe it will be appreciated by all our readers.
